Start point:
Galle, Sri Lanka (Tranquil Heaven Villa – pickup between 03:00 and 03:45)
Your journey begins early in the morning with pickup from Galle for a scenic drive toward Udawalawe National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting jeep safari lasting around 4–6 hours, where you may encounter wild elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds thriving in their natural habitat.
Around midday, continue to the Udawalawe Elephant Rehabilitation Centre to observe the daily feeding session and learn about the conservation efforts dedicated to caring for orphaned and injured elephants. After enjoying an authentic Sri Lankan lunch at a local restaurant, travel onward to Ella — a charming hill town surrounded by lush tea plantations and misty mountain landscapes.
